Hi Wee Huddle! My name is Danielle and I am the solo jack-of-all-trades at Wee Seedling. I grew Wee Seedling with the notion of providing families an option to buy clothing with intention. My goal is to provide transparent information about where and how our clothing is made and to design clothing that is in-tune with how children move and grow. I have been an infant nanny (birth to 1) for a decade and my biggest pet peeve is not finding many clothing lines that are both ethical and well-fitting. My inspiration for the design of Wee Seedling clothing comes mostly from Europe and from my experience attending a Waldorf school as a child. Alongside being a nanny, I have a degree in Maternal Child Health and Human Lactation and am an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). Over the years, I have worked for and run women and family-owned local children's stores.
In my free-time (right...), I enjoy knitting and sewing, hiking, collecting baby clothing, European wooden toys and cloth diapers from other small ethical brands.
